Dan Murphy

Lives
Encinitas, CA
Sponsors
KR3W, Nike, Mystery Skateboards, Zero Wheels, Diamond Bearings, Krux Trucks.

Why did you start skating... because it’s fun. Why do you want to skate with Dan Murphy... because Murphy is the definition of fun. Dan sparks off hyper positive energy to any session. Dan kills it on and off the board, when Dan’s not skating he is driving around looking for spots talking to his dog Indy, Indy sometimes talks back to Dan and Dan gets hyped off Indy while Indy gets hyped off Dan, This is a chain reaction of pure insanity and I’ve never seen anything quite like Murphy and his Dog Indy. The Murphy / Indy duo is something that can’t fully be explained you just have to witness it in person for yourself. Dan and Indy are guaranteed to leave you scratching your head in amusement and jaw dropping amazement.

RAMIRO "FURBY" SALCEDO

Lives Hawthorne, CA
Sponsors KR3W, Supra, Deathwish, Hubba, Venture, Transitions Skateshop.
If you grew up skating a park that the locals proudly call “The Dirty”, you grew up in South Central Los Angeles—the city of Hawthorne to be exact. And if you skated non-stop and watched videos of Tom Penny everyday, then maybe, just maybe, you might end up with some pop like Ramiro “Furby” Salcedo. Seriously, Furbz has been paying dues and killing spots long enough that people have really started to take notice of his smooth style and proper flicks. I mean, how can you not notice a nollie back heel down Carlsbad gap or a nollie flip down that Burbank seven-flat-two? In the words of Antwuan Dixon, “You tight man, you know it, welcome to the team.”

TOM PENNY

Lives Costa Mesa, CA
Sponsors KR3W, Supra Footwear, Flip Skateboards, Ricta Wheels, Fury Trucks.
Legendary Status is something very few skateboarders will ever achieve, and it’s fitting that the calm, cool, and carefree Tom Penny did it without really trying. Hailing from Dorchester, England, when Tom began popping up in skateboard videos and magazines he did tricks with such style that people instantly took notice. Actually, the truth is that people kind of freaked. Out of nowhere Tom was doing tricks once thought impossible with such grace it almost seemed unreal. And as the attention grew and sponsors flocked to him, Tom didn’t really seem to be lured by the fans or money. He just kept skating, disappearing, reappearing, and always doing it like only the legendary Tom Penny could, which is why he’s always been such a crucial part KR3W, and will be here from the beginning and beyond.

Greg Myers

Lives
Hemet, CA
Sponsors
KR3W, DC Shoes

Greg Myers is a true skate beast that lives by an incredibly strict and disciplined training regiment. It all starts early, around 2pm, with at least 20 reps of playing Call Of Duty 3 on the XBOX 360, with a quick 10 minute smoke break in between, followed by three hours of skate cardio on his flatbar and manual box. All this conditioning really pays off for his weekend skateboarding trips out of the desert town of Hemet into the streets of Carlsbad, or Oceanside, or Vista, or wherever the hell he can get his skate on.

TERRY KENNEDY

Lives Los Angeles, CA
Sponsors KR3W, Baker Skateboards, Venture Trucks, Supra Footwear
It took Terry Kennedy about thirty seconds to get good at skateboarding, two months to get sponsored, and only three years to go pro. How? Well, growing up in the streets of Long Beach and skating with pros from Baker skateboards definitely helped, but let’s face it—TK’s got what they call raw talent. And when you combine that talent with TK’s “Hustle Or Die” attitude you better look out. Cause next thing you know Terry’s popping up on your TV, acting on the big screen, releasing records, and still killing shit on his board because once he starts he ain’t gonna stop—TK ALL DAY!

EVAN HERNANDEZ

Lives Long Beach, CA
Sponsors KR3W, Boost Mobile, Fury Trucks, Ricta Wheels, Ice Cream Flow.
How do you look so relaxed and laid back while attacking rails and launching over gaps? Maybe you should ask Evan Hernandez, cause he sure as hell seems to have that calm and cool style thing dialed. It’s almost like Evan knows some secret technique for all his tricks. His backside Smith grinds are a way more dipped than others, and his flip tricks seem to come to his feet a bit too perfectly… which kind of makes you think that somethin’ just ain’t right. Maybe Evan skated way too much as a kid? Maybe he made a secret deal with the devil? Or maybe he’s just really that skilled on a skateboard? Whatever it is he sure as hell did somethin’ right, and that’s why he’s been a part of KR3W from the start.

JIM GRECO

Lives Hollywood, CA
Sponsors KR3W, Supra, Deathwish, Independent Trucks, Active Mailorder, Brigada Eyewear.
Jim’s vocabulary of slang can be heard all over our skate industry, and his nitch for stapling these words got him plenty jobs for writing lyrics for many great musicians. I mean, do you think Johnny Thunders, Mick Jagger or James Brown wrote their own shit? Hell no. But this talent also got Greco into a little bit of trouble with drug trafficking by getting a little bit caught up in the rock n roll scene. Luckily, in the midst pushing pounds, kilos, and writing lyrics he happened to pick up a skateboard along the way, relieving him off all stress and onto righteous path of droppin’ hammers while still going back home to the streets of New Haven, Connecticut, to give back to family and friends never losing site of the past. Looking smooth, dressed to kill, rocking gold swingers, and driving a rag-top Cadillac Deville, Pimp JG has als got some thangs on the side. These days Jim’s takin’ Myspace in a new direction and living by the famous words of Bishop Don Magic Juan—“Green is for the money, gold is for the honey.”

ERIK ELLINGTON

Lives Hollywood, CA
Sponsors KR3W, Supra, Deathwish, Spitfire Wheels, Thunder Trucks, Active Mailorder, Brigada Eyewear.
Coming out with fits of rage, The Skullington emerges from the depths of Alaska running wild through Arizona and landing on the crazy streets of L.A. Not to be reckoned with, and having a cult following with the attitude of “Fuck The World!”, Erik has put the smack down on the infamous biggie front board to sold out concerts with his favorite band Guns ‘N’ Roses. Gang bangin’ with dem bloods and crips bandana print Supra's, he’s also put the smoothness of butter touch on all fabrics and graphics of his sponsors from KR3W, Supra, Thunder, Spitfire, Baker, Active, and you can’t forget the new stuntin’ line of Brigadas that will be lookin’ so fresh and so clean, clean. Always down for the cause, say a big wussup to the “Mule-Man” Ellington when you get the chance!

CHAD MUSKA

Lives Hollywood, CA
Sponsors KR3W, Supra, Element Skateboards, Ricta Wheels, Mob Grip, Independent Trucks, 1212 Records, Forever Living.
How do you get a “The” added in front of your name? Well, The Muska sure as hell don’t do it by chilling in front of 7-11 sipping Slurpees and slappying curbs all day. Nope, Chad has paid his dues by going on a10 year skateboarding killing spree, destroying rails and pushing the limits of what can be done on a skateboard. Funny thing is, for Chad this isn’t enough. His seemingly endless supply of positive energy always keeps him busy working in his digital dojo—creating new clothing designs, photos, videos, all while rolling out on the town DJing, skating, and of course doing it only like The Muska could.

INDY

Lives Encinitas, CA
Sponsors KR3W, Nike, Mystery Skateboards, Zero Wheels, Diamond Bearings, Krux Trucks

Indy is a multi-talented mysterious dog/fox breed hailing from the grimy streets of Raleigh, North Carolina. Born on Independence Day, hence the name, and raised next to a skateboard, he’s mastered his own bag of tricks varying from the backflip to hunting wild animals. Apart from being well- educated, Indy has had the opportunity to travel the world alongside his father and fellow skateboarders. He has successfully procreated and is the known father to one rare son, Rodney. Any other legitimate children remains a mystery. His accomplishments have been numerous, ranging from a custom shoe on Nike SB to a pro skateboard on Mystery. His next project may even include a pro-series truck. For any skateboarders out there, or dog-lovers in general, Indy is down to kick it and ride out on any mission at any time. He’s the skateboarders dog and will continue to support and represent skateboarders worldwide... KR3W for life.

LIZARD KING

Lives Salt Lake, UT—Hollywood, CA
Sponsors KR3W, Deathwish, Indy Trucks, Spitfire Wheels, Circa Combat, Skull Candy.
How does one get a name like Lizard King? Well, the dude formally known as Mike Plumb got his by skating his ass off, sleeping on floors, eating lots of Ramen, and generally just keeping it “Green room as f@#k” with sprinkle of “Passion.” Don’t worry, when you get a chance to skate with Lizard you’ll quickly learn what the hell we’re talking about and quickly see how his insane skating and awesome personality hypes everyone up.

Antwuan Dixon

Lives
Victorville, CA

Sponsors KR3W, Supra, Deathwish, Mob Grip, Ogio Bags, Spitfire Wheels, Thunder Trucks.

Have you ever seen that young kid skating and you say to yourself, “Damn, that little bastard’s going to be really good someday.” And then a couple weeks later you turn around and see he’s not a kid anymore. In fact, dude’s two feet taller and one of the sickest skaters you’ve ever seen? Yeah? Well then you’ve obviously seen Antwuan Dixon. Basically, popping off one of the best parts in the Baker 3 video was just the beginning for Antwuan—this cats out the bag and he’s scratchin’ the hell out of spots worldwide. So if you haven’t seen the lil’ guy since the last video, don’t trip. Next time you see him Big Kandy is guaranteed to be doing it big down stairs, rails, and anything else that gets in his way.
